History

1999¡¡Santao Food Company was originally established as a subsidiary of the Dajiang Group whose main facility was in a town located in the East Coast of China, where was the nation's leading agricultural region.

1999    First produce packing house and frozen processing workshop were built; the packing capability was 40 metric tons per day.

2000   Company acquired Yuanye Ginger Company; 5000 metric tons of fresh ginger were exported to north America market and Middle East market.

2001   Quality control system was complemented; first HACCP Audit and ISO 9002 were implemented. 

2002   Expanded its onsite cold storage capacity to 2000 metric tons.

2003   Started its first organic farm with 120 acres of ginger and garlic.

2004   Expanded the organic farm to 200 acres; The first GMP audit; The oversea office was established.

2005   Strawberry processing line was installed; OU certification.

2006   Became one of the few organic certified processors in Eastern  China, the facility was certified by ECOCERT; 100 acres of blackberry were planted

2007  Initiated EUREP GAP auditing and certification programs; expanded its organic farm to 350 Acres; A new workshop is now in construction
